Focus

Guys,
I'm losing my focus ! Well I lost it a while ago. Ever since I got back from vacations, then I lost my beta, and I just couldn't write as easily as I used to.
I don't know what to do. I'm a workaholic, if I don't write or draw or anything, my mind wither.
I don't know what to do. I just want to go back to the one I was a few months ago...

Therefore, I feel that I have to apologize. My next chapter might be late, and I can't find the motivation to write a new chapter for 'Twig'. I started this other fic I told you about some times ago but it feels so crappy. Words don't come easily~

59 minutes challenge

This is not very fanfic-related but concerns One Piece.
Ever since I started writing a also began to draw again. I have had many drawing phases, and this once seems to last.

I created a deviantart account a few days ago and, in an attempt to improve my weak skills, I gave myself a 59 minutes challenge (because I don't like spending to much time on a drawing) to draw a One Piece related picture.

The problem is that I lack the idea and, too often, I end up drawing Ace and or Eli.
Therefore, I'm asking for ideas.

An idea? I wanna see you draw X. Drake please! draw both his human and dinosaur form! (hope that's not asking for too much). We need more dinosaur loving in this thread. :3

My Funny Valentine

'My Funny Valentine' is an old, old song (1937 according to wikipedia).
I don't know where I heard it first, a movie maybe... Anyway, as soon as I heard it I fell it love with this love song.
Its music, the voice of its multiple interprets and the lyrics...


Now, you might wonder what it has to do with my fanfiction 'Freckles'.
Well, recently I've been listening to it and, as I sang (ouch) the lyrics, I noticed that they fitted a bit how Ace saw Eli.


Ever since I started writing this fic, a question has been torturing me; why the hell would a man like him fall for a girl like her ?
Very much like Eli, I felt that she wasn't 'worthy' of him.
But, somehow, whenever I listen to this song, I can actually feel Ace's love for the stupid girl.
